I believe the Scaling Up content is great for more mature teams: teams that have many of the "basics" down. If you are a business owner and are really a "practitioner" who is now so successful that you're "running a business" but you don't know what to do next, I would suggest that you start with Traction/EOS. Once you get those fundamentals down, you can add in some of the Scaling Up tools. 

Of course, opinions vary. You could pick up Scaling Up and have it just work for you. You may also choose to engage a consultant from the Gazelles organization and have great success. We hope you do!
